Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review is a literary journal based in Austin, Texas that publishes poetry along with photographs, reviews and essays.

Keynote poet is Joe Brundidge, well-known host and public speaker at Austin’s poetry scenes and author of Element 615 (Lit City Press, 2017), with readings by Sequoia Maner and Leslie Morris.

Art talk by featured Comanche artist Eric Tippeconnic, whose vibrant artwork honors the Comanche culture historically and as a “living, thriving and contemporary” nation. Based on his exhibit “Comanche Motion” on view at the Bullock Texas State History Museum through January 2, 2019, Tippeconnic’s art talk showcases his series published in the new issue.

Tippeconnic will sign limited edition posters of Borderlands issue 48 cover featuring his visually-striking artwork “Traditional Comanche Woman” as a special fundraiser for the journal.
